Word Lamp: Choose Object(O) > Lamp(16x16)(L) > Word Lamp(W) command from the menu bar or click the
icon
on the toolbar to create a Word Lamp object.
Step 1. After click Object(O) > Lamp(16x16)(L) > Word Lamp(W) command from the menu bar or click the
icon
on the toolbar, the users could create a Word Lamp object on the screen. Then, double-click
the object, and the users can get the following Word Lamp Setting tab (Figure 1-67). The users can set
this object to read the corresponding PLC contacts (ON or OFF) or the value of PLC register, and
display the read result or value on the screen of TP series directly. When the Refer Device is a
constant, the system will perform comparison according to the settings of the Current State (Range: 0 ~
4) (Figure 1-68) and display the picture set in Bitmap Setting.

Step 2. The Display Sequence could be either “From Max to Min” or “From Min to Max”.
Step 3. There are five selections of Current State, 0 to 4. After selecting the Current State, choose a
corresponding display picture by using “Bitmap Setting” drop-down list. The state changes, and the
corresponding display picture changes as well. Each state should have its corresponding setting range.
The option of “Device Value >= Range Value” is used to set the corresponding setting range. For
example, suppose that Display Sequence is set to “From Max to Min”, if the setting of “Device Value >=
Range Value” is set to 300 for Current State 0, and the setting of “Device Value >= Range Value” is set
to 100 for Current State 1, when the Device Value is equal to or greater than 300, the picture of Current
State 0 will show on the screen; when the Device Value is equal to or greater than 100, the picture of
Current 1 will show on the screen. Please note that if the Device Value is smaller than 100, no picture
will display as the users do not specify its Current State and display picture. The setting range value of
